Wow! This is Camille writing :) This is my political Blog! I really enjoy Politics, someday I’d like to be involved somehow.

My parents and I went to a Rick Santorum speech/campaign Town Meeting @ The Mabee Center at “Oral Roberts University” today! First one I’ve ever been to of anybody I think.

Right as the whole thing was about to get started, Someone had a HEART ATTACK in the audience. .. crazy.

This will my 1st Election I GET to VOTE in!

I didn’t know much about Senator Santorum before we went, but I heard he was conservative. I’m very conservative too. I was amazed at how sincere he was. He also answered the questions very well. I was impressed with how unashamedly he spoke his beliefs. He seems very stable and not easily shaken. In my opinion, that’s what this country needs. A True American that fully backs the Constitution.

So here’s the really cool part. !!! We were watching all the Press people do their thing in the blocked off section for special people.. and we saw a lady that is running for an office in Tulsa wave us over to an opening. She had just preached at our church maybe two weeks ago.

Next thing you know, we were down with the big cats. :)

I met his daughter, who is really a dear soul, and gave her our CDs for them to listen to! She said they have a lot of driving time and they will definitely listen to them! (The music is just about to be done, but not yet to be released) We had burned them from our computer before the rally and didn’t know if they’d be shaking hands or not.

I was like shaking when I was video camera-ing from my phone. Actually I was shaking.

Someday I believe Haley will sing @ the White House. We’d love to sing the National Anthem there too... actually we want to sing it all the time anywhere and everywhere. Naturally we do a duet version :)

I was sooo close (in arms reach several times) but so far away... I just wanted to Shake his hand.. So I asked Elizabeth (his daughter) if she would help me... &... SHazaaam! She told her dad, “You’ve got one more hand back here” - He turned around, shook my hand and signed my autograph paper. haha.

On the way out we saw a small crowd gathering around the car they were pulling out in.. so we skadooled over and said bye right before they left :) He shook moms hand from the window as they drove away, and dad played him a few seconds of one of our songs on a portable speaker.

Maybe that sounds Generic to you.... . . . BUT IT’S NOT TO ME :)

What if he does become the next President of the United States?

I’ll have this story forever either way :)
